Who Am I?

My name is Matthew Kent, and I’m a flight instructor and airline pilot by profession.

I started my journey towards becoming a pilot in 2007, got my commercial and flight instructor certificates (CFI, CFII, MEI) by July, 2008. I flight instructed for almost 3 years, and have since been in the airlines.

What is This Website About?

This website is about providing quality information to anyone who wants to be a pilot or who already is a pilot and wants to learn more. This website also offers products to help you in your journey towards becoming a pilot: FAA Written Test guides, Oral Exam Guides, Aeronautical handbooks, flight bags, etc.

Why Did I Create This Website?

There’s 2 things in life that I’m passionate about: Flying, and teaching. I love just watching planes takeoff and land, I love being in the cockpit and taking off and landing even more. I’m also passionate about flight instructing; I love the learning process, to watch a student going from knowing nothing about flying, to soloing them for the first time, and watch them grow into safe, mature pilots who then go on to become airline pilots, corporate pilots, bush pilots and flight instructors.

I created this website to share my passion for flying with others!
